Style Guides

Create and use Style Guides to keep image generation consistent across a project.

A Style Guide is a plain text ruleset that keeps your concepts and assets visually consistent.

Create a Style Guide from scratch

  1. Click the New File icon
  2. Select Style Guide
  3. Open Style Guide.txt and write/paste your rules
  4. Save

Generate a Style Guide from an image

Upload or reference an image, then prompt:

Create a style guide from @path/to/image.png

Or from a description:

Create a style guide from (description of image)

Set a default Style Guide

  • On new projects, Style Guide.txt is set as default automatically
  • You can also right‑click any text file → Set as Default Style Guide

Use a specific Style Guide for image generation

Create an image (what you want) using @path/to/style_guide.txt

What to include in a Style Guide

  1. Shape language (geometric vs organic, simple vs complex)
  2. Color (palette + mood; saturated vs muted)
  3. Materials (realistic PBR vs stylized; clean vs weathered)
  4. Lighting & camera
    • Recommendation: wide-angle + flat lighting if you plan to generate 3D models

Finally, state constraints (example: “no occupants.”)
