Edit and Restyle Images
Edit for precise changes; Restyle for global mood/style changes—before you go to 3D.
Before converting anything to 3D, it’s often worth polishing your images.
Edit vs Restyle (decision rule)
Use Edit when you want targeted changes to specific elements.
Use Restyle when you want to change the overall look/mood while keeping composition.
Edit Images (precise changes)
Typical use cases:
- Fix colors, materials, or artifacts
- Remove or add a prop
- Adjust a specific lighting element
How to start:
- Right‑click an image → Edit Image (or drag it into chat)
- Describe exactly what to change
- Specify what must stay the same
Example:
Edit @generated/images/assassin_thief_medieval_realistic_53be.png with the following edits:
- Make his coat pure black, with a matte leather look
- Keep his pose, camera angle, and background exactly the sameAdvanced edit: use another image as reference
Edit @path/to/image.png with the following edits:
- Put the dagger in his hand
Using @path/to/dagger_image.pngRestyle Images (global style/mood)
Great for:
- Switching art style (painterly → 3D render, etc.)
- Day → night, sunny → rainy, cozy → horror
- Matching a project lookbook
How to restyle:
- Right‑click an image → Restyle Image
- Describe target style + mood
- Call out what must stay the same (pose/layout/camera)
Example:
Restyle the image @generated/images/assassin_thief_medieval_realistic_53be.png with the style:
hyper-realistic 3D at night, lit by warm lanterns, rich detailed textures, cinematic contrast.
Keep the character pose and building layout the same.Updated about 1 month ago
