Concepts Glossary

Definitions of key WorldEngen terms used across the docs.

3D Model Generation

Converting an image into a 3D model. Images can be imported or generated. Image Kits are the fastest way to prepare inputs.

AI Video Renders

Short clips (often ~5–9s) generated from a source image plus camera/subject direction. Best results come from iterating with volume.

Concept Art

Generated or imported images that explore visual direction before 3D conversion.

Greybox Generation

Placeholder geometry created from a top‑down/layout diagram. Used as a foundation for scene assembly.

Image Editing vs Restyling

  • Editing: targeted changes to specific elements
  • Restyling: global look/mood/style transformation while preserving composition

Image Kits

A breakdown of concept art into isolated item images used for 3D model generation.

Projects

Your project folder containing assets, scenes, images, videos, and style guides.

Round‑trip integrations

Connections to Blender/Unity/Unreal via the WorldEngen Transport Protocol to send/receive scenes and control actions via prompts.

Scene

The collection of placed models and layout that represents your working world.

Top‑Down / Layout Diagram

A top‑down representation of the space used to generate a greybox.

Viewport

The interactive 3D space where you inspect and edit your scene.
